THINK LONGEVITY, STYLE AND UTILITY THIS SEASON

HIGH-END, CROSS-FUNCTIONAL, APPAREL

A CLEAR TREND FOR WINTER

The demand for traditional corporate apparel basics is being replaced by a desire for higher-end, cross-functional, stylish and responsibly sourced apparel.

Give your customers something their staff wants to wear rather than something they have to wear. The more wear the end-user gets out of an item, the more exposure your customer gets as their employees wear their jackets around town, on the golf course or hiking in the mountains. Stormtech designs and develops leading edge products that are functional and fit the body in an ergonomic and modern styling.

The Stormtech Matrix System Jacket (XB-4 & XB-4W) is one example. The launch of the Matrix Systems Jacket has redefined the 3-in-1. It’s a piece that changes with the seasons. An H2XTREME® waterproof/ breathable outer shell with articulated elbows to allow for a full range of movement and fully sealed seams ensure the jacket stays watertight. The outer shell works in synergy with a lightweight and thermally robust interchangeable thermal shell liner that zips in and out as required. It’s available in both male and female styles and a wide range of trending colour options.

The Gravity Thermal Jacket (AFP-1 & AFP-1W) is another item a workforce will get ton of wear out of. This baffled and thermally lined jacket is a style you will notice all over the high street – a true sign this on-trend piece will give your customers serious bang for their buck. The jacket is ultra-lightweight, with a sleek, snug fit that uses heat-trapping polyfill insulation in place of natural down fill. The difference here is the dry time: While having an almost equivalent weight-to warmth ratio, the advantage of polyfill is that if it gets wet, it has a superior drying time compared to natural down. You also have the added peace of mind that your jacket is animal cruelty-free.

In the same vein, many end-users want to know they and their employer have some form of environmental policy. All new Stormtech styles from the Spring of 2018 onward are free of environmentally harmful perfluorinated carbons (PFCs). PFCs are a group of manufactured compounds that are widely used in water-repellent finishes of high performance outerwear to achieve a breathable fabric that is water/oil-repellent.

As an outdoor clothing brand at its best in nature, Stormtech is committed to sustainability and protecting the natural environment.

“We partnered with fabric mills and garment factories to find alternative breathable water-repellent treatments that are PFC-free without sacrificing the performance of our materials,” said Blake Annable, President & CEO of Stormtech. “Together with our suppliers, we have selected the best fluorocarbon free technologies that have proven reliable.” continues Annable.

Recent studies have shown that PFCs have the potential to cause environmental and health issues. Stormtech is the first brand in the promotional products apparel industry to fully commit to going 100% PFC-free. Key waterproof styles this season include the Synthesis Stormshell, Matrix System Jacket, Avalanche System Jacket, Synthesis Pant and Snowburst Technical Pant, all of which are PFC-free.
